For independent cafés

Your menu, your specials,
your shop - on screen
in 60 seconds.

Live menu boards, daily specials, window displays, and equipment status - built with SimSense, no design or code required. Free to start with any tablet or screen you already own.

Made for shops like yours

Independent cafes don’t fit the templates that fit chains.

SimSense bridges the digital to physical for your cafe. Screens for your customers, and your team.

How it works

Three steps, no developer required.

01

Use a screen you already own

Any iPad, Android tablet, or basic LCD with a browser. Place it where customers can see it, or where your staff can see it.

02

Install a kit, or ask your agent

Pick the Cafe Menu Board kit and type your menu in whatever form you have it; the board is live immediately. Want something the kits don’t cover? Connect SimSense to your agent - Claude or any other that speaks MCP - and describe it.

03

Assign the Sim to the screen

Devices and Sims each get their own URL - open the device’s URL on the screen once and you’re done with the hardware. After that, pick which Sim it shows from your phone, your computer, or while you’re standing at the supplier. Changes are live in seconds.

Goldenrod Coffee - a real menu sim, running live above.

Beyond menu boards

Where this goes once you’re ready.

Menu boards are the first thing you put on screen. Behind them, the same AI that builds your sims can read your POS, your fridge, your door counter - and act on what it sees. Lunch Specials that adapt to inventory. Procurement that watches inventory. Promotions that respond to traffic. All of this works through MCP - the same open standard your agent already uses to talk to your other tools. We’re working with a small group of independent operators ready to go further.

Common questions

What cafe owners ask us.

Do I need a developer or to write code?

No. Install a kit and answer its questions, or tell your agent what you want. If you’ve ever sent a text message, you can run a board.

Do I need my own AI agent, or to install anything?

No. Kits set themselves up in a conversation and their agents run on our side. If you already use an agent - Claude or any other that supports MCP - you can also connect SimSense to it and work from there. Because MCP is open, an agent can pull from other tools you already use - your storefront, your scheduling app - so what’s on screen reflects what’s actually happening in your shop.

What hardware do I need?

Any tablet you already have works. iPad, Android tablet, or a basic LCD screen with a browser. No new hardware is required to start. For counting who is looking, a spare phone with its camera facing the room is enough.

How is this different from a regular digital menu service?

Digital menu services are static - you log in to a CMS, you upload images, you wait. SimSense is built around AI: you describe a change, it’s live in seconds.

What happens if my internet drops?

Your display keeps showing the last loaded sim. When connectivity returns, it picks up your latest changes automatically.

How much does it cost?

Free to start. Paid plans add more screens, sims and agents; prices are shown at checkout.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes - that’s the default. Sign up free, install a kit, point a tablet at it. Pay only when you want more than the free plan includes.
